This class is at the Stardust Village Clubhouse (1418 Pine St, Silverton).

This class will be taught in acrylic paint. In this class you will learn how to create a beautiful spring sunset on a calm day at the beach. You will learn blending techniques, how to add depth to a painting and how to create flowers. It will be painted on a 16 x 20 canvas and will be a step-by-step guided process.

This class is at the Grandview (1050 Linden Street, Mt. Angel).

In this class you will learn blending and shading techniques and how to create a realistic flower.

This class is at the Stardust Village Clubhouse (1418 Pine St, Silverton).

This is acrylic paint on a 16 x 20 canvas. In this class you will learn how to layer paint to create realistic fur. And create flowers, color, blending and backgrounds.

This class is at the Grandview (1050 Linden Street, Mt. Angel).

In this painting we focus on distance, shading, flowers and blending techniques. It will be painted in acrylic on a 16 x 20 canvas. This class is a step by step guided class where I will help you through the process.

In this course you will learn how to create a beautiful sunset on the lake. You will learn about shading, blending, depth and realistic trees. This will be done in acrylic on a 16 x 20 canvas. This is a step by step guided class where I will help you every step of the way.

This class is at the Grandview (1050 Linden Street, Mt. Angel).

In this class you will learn how to do a Bokeh background! I call it out of focus/ softness background. You will learn the technique while creating a beautiful butterfly on a hydrangea as your focal point. This class is done with acrylics on a 16 x 20 canvas. This class is a step-by-step guided class. I will help you every step of the way.

10 to 1 pm ✤ Fee is $10

This class is at the Stardust Village Clubhouse (1418 Pine St, Silverton).

This class is for abstract lovers. It will also use mixed media to create a textured look. This will be painted on a 12 x 12 canvas. (Square) for something different. You will learn how to use clay and paint with a palette knife to create this look. When it is done it will have a 3-dimensional look. This is a step-by-step guided painting. I will help you every step of the way!

This class is at the Grandview, at 1050 Linden Street, Mt. Angel.

Acrylic paint on 16 x 20 canvas. You will learn how to paint a calm day at the beach. How to use a liner brush to create grass and small waves. This is a guided class where I will teach you step-by-step and help you through the process.

Wednesdays

Knit Wits

10 to noon
Knit Wits is a social group where you can work on and share your projects. Not just knitting: crochet projects, hook rugs, embroidery, tatting, weaving, and any other textile projects are welcome. We even have members who aren't working on a project, but just come to see what others are doing. Knit Wits meet at their new temporary location: Silvertowne II Apartments in The Commons Building, 1115 Mill Street.

Open Studio Painters

10 to 1 pm
Open Studio Painters, who meet at the Senior Center on Wednesday afternoons, have made arrangements to continue meeting at the Silverton Arts Association classroom, 303 Coolidge St. in Coolidge-McClaine Park.
